As part of my programming responsibilities at IFFI, I participated in a series of multi-tier collaborations with cultural institutions to curate special sections and retrospectives focused on international cinemas. Working alongside IFFI’s partnership division, I oversaw the programming dimension of these collaborations — coordinating with institutional programme officers to identify and select films that:

• Reflected each institution’s curatorial vision and artistic priorities,

• Highlighted the creative and industrial diversity of their contemporary national cinema,

• Revisited key retrospective practices from their film histories, and

• Aligned with IFFI’s broader curatorial and audience development objectives.

These collaborations produced carefully conceived lineups that introduced Indian audiences to landmark works, contemporary highlights, and distinctive voices from the partner regions — enriching the festival’s international scope and fostering sustained cultural dialogue.

Presented a focused lineup of five British films in partnership with the BFI, showcasing formally daring and thematically resonant works from the UK’s contemporary cinema landscape.

Curated under the Country Focus segment, this collaboration brought a diverse range of Australian films to Indian audiences, spotlighting the nation’s creative range, industry innovation, and narrative diversity.
