PRATEEK RAWAT, CURATOR (FILM)
PROFILE
Prateek Rawat is a film programmer, curator, and writer working across film festivals, cultural institutions, and independent curatorial platforms for over a decade. His practice focuses on contemporary Asian cinemas and film cultures from the Global South, festival programming, film circulation, and curatorial research.
He has led international programming initiatives for the National Film Development Corporation of India, the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF), the Japanese Film Festival, and the International Film Festival Delhi (IFFD).
He has also served on international juries and selection committees, contributing to the discovery and evaluation of emerging cinematic voices across diverse festival contexts. His writing has appeared in academic and critical publications, including Bright Lights Film Journal and Derrida and Film Studies.
He is the Founder and Artistic Director of CINETRACE.
